Capability
Strategic renewal of existing assets to improve presentation, performance and value.
Refurbishment renews an existing asset that is still in use: lobbies, common areas, amenities, tenancies, facades and established homes. DYME plans these works in Sydney and NSW around the owner’s objectives and the people who occupy the building.
Existing drawings, condition reports and a site review set the starting scope; anything concealed is dealt with through a defined change process rather than absorbed informally. Staging, work hours, access routes and protection of retained areas are agreed before trades begin.
Each refurbished area is inspected against the agreed scope and documented before it is handed back. Where a building also carries defects, the repair scope is settled first so new finishes do not cover an unresolved problem.
For a Sydney or NSW refurbishment enquiry, share the building location, areas in scope, occupancy during works, existing drawings or reports, target timeframe and budget range.
Contact Our TeamRefurbishing a commercial asset means improving its presentation and performance without stopping the building from working. DYME structures the works around occupancy, services and the owner’s objectives.
Apartment buildings age in the areas everyone shares: lobbies, corridors, lifts, facades, car parks and landscaping. DYME plans and coordinates the renewal of these areas while residents continue to live in the building.
Renovating an established home is a detailed exercise in working with what exists. DYME approaches these projects with structured planning, close coordination of trades and a focus on finish quality.
Not every tenancy can be emptied for a refurbishment. DYME plans and delivers refreshes of occupied offices and tenancies in zones, so that the business keeps working while finishes, joinery and services are renewed around it.
The lobby is the one space every occupant and visitor passes through, which is exactly why it is hard to refurbish. DYME plans and delivers upgrades to entrances, lobbies, corridors and shared facilities while the building keeps operating.
Bathrooms, showers, change rooms and bike facilities are small areas with dense services and daily users. DYME plans and delivers their renewal floor by floor, keeping facilities available to tenants while each area is rebuilt.
